Corvette Weekend 2017

The Southern Oregon Corvette Association 2017 CORVETTE WEEKEND was a great trip for the club this year. PCCC Participants met on Friday July 14th for a beautiful drive with a lunch stop at Seven Feathers. The weather was warmer than our coast temperatures, however we all agreed that it was a welcome change. We arrived in Grants Pass, enjoyed a nice cruise thru the old town, then on to registration and a Meet & Greet at The Tap Rock Grill.

Later we met up at the Tap Rock for a really great group dinner on the patio overlooking the river where we enjoyed the warmer evening weather and rehydration time. Saturday morning we gathered at Riverside Park for the event, where Don and Sherry McCall took a Best of Class Sponsor award! A bunch of us met for the Hellgate Jet Boat Dinner Cruise which was a real thrill, plenty of spray to cool us down from the 100-degree day. Afterwards we met for dessert & SOCA’s No Host Bar back at the Tap Rock Northwest Grill. The PCCC has been talking about a jet boat trip for years and the thrill ride from Grants Pass to Hellgate made the wait worthwhile. It was spectacular! The SOCA folks were great hosts during the event and we especially enjoyed having a little playtime with them on the jet boats.
